Who wouldn’t relish a trip to Disneyland? The 1993 North Carolina football team certainly enjoyed its August visit to the California site. “The team stayed at the Hilton Hotel at Newport Beach,” Woody Durham remembered. “The Tar Heels and Trojans were given complete freedom in the park, and there were various contests between both teams.” But it was a working vacation.
