North Carolina’s offense looked better at the end of the year with Nathan Elliott under center, but that was a small sample size (and even smaller when you consider one of those games was against Western Carolina). California quarterback Ross Bowers has a full year of experience and this will be his second time against UNC, which was one of his best games in 2017.
