This is such a different situation for Nathan Elliott entering the season. The North Carolina quarterback’s role has been neatly presented as the Tar Heels embark on the 2018 schedule with Saturday’s game at California. “Last year going into this game I was the third guy in the lineup,” Elliott said. “Didn’t see any playing time (against California). Wasn’t having a lot of fun.”
