Cade Fortin Named UNC's Backup QB

While North Carolina’s starting quarterback was announced the first week of training camp, Larry Fedora waited until the final media availability before Saturday’s season opener to announce his backup quarterback against California. “We’re going to go with Cade Fortin as our No. 2 quarterback going into this game,” Fedora told reporters on Wednesday.
