Charlie Justice Era Letterman Bill Flamish Dies In Allentown

Bill Flamish, a three-year Letterman from 1946-48 on the Charlie Justice Era UNC football teams, died in his home in Allentown, Pa., on Sept. 1. After graduating from Allentown High in 1944, Bill enrolled at UNC and played for Coach Carl Snavely and participated in two Sugar Bowls, 1947 and 1949. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Bill graduated from UNC in 1949.
