Cardinals reliever Andrew Miller determined to prove last season was aberration
Posted Jan 23, 2019
Lefthanded reliever Andrew Miller appeared in just 37 games last year with Cleveland, posting a 4.24 earned-run average as his season was curtailed by three stints on the disabled list — shoulder impingement, hamstring strain and knee inflammation. “I’ve got a little bit of a chip on my shoulder,” said the 33-year-old Miller. “Last year I did not pitch well. I didn’t pitch frequently."
