Carolina thrashed listless State, emptying its bench as the RBC Center emptied in the second-to-last home game of the season. "They certainly whipped us in every way,'' Herb Sendek, the State coach said. "They really did whip us.'' UNC now appears to be the team best equipped for a high NCAA seed and a deep NCAA run.
