Dre Bly and North Carolina's Cornerbacks

A two-time All-American in the late 1990s, Dré Bly embodied the "rude boys" nickname created by early 90s defensive backs including Jimmy Hitchcock, Tim Smith, Bracey Walker, and Thomas Smith. UNC's DBs still refer to themselves as such. But in his first spring as UNC's cornerbacks coach, Bly instructed his players on what it truly means to be rude.
