Erin Matson Named ACC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week

North Carolina sophomore Erin Matson has been named the 2019 season's first ACC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week. Matson had a hat trick Friday at No. 7 Michigan as No. 1 UNC opened the season with a top-10 road win. After the Wolverines took a 1-0 lead, Matson scored three times in the second quarter to put UNC ahead for good.
