UNC Football Program Receives Transformational Gift

On Monday, UNC Athletics and The Rams Club announced their largest gift in history: a transformational commitment to support the UNC football program and secure future excellence. The gift was made by The Eddie and Jo Allison Smith Family Foundation and will honor their son Chris Smith '87 by naming the field at Kenan Memorial Stadium the Chris Smith Field.
