'I just can’t imagine it': UNC professors on sports' return in 2020

UNC associate chair of global studies Jonathan Weiler found it presumptive that sports will resume this fall amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I’m thinking to myself, ‘You guys are out of your minds if you think we’re having a normal NFL season.’” Weiler admits he’s “on the pessimistic side” regarding a return to normalcy this year, at both pro and college levels.
