Carmichael's upgrades, roster changes excite lady Tar Heels

As the North Carolina women's basketball players scattered around the court to answer questions at the team's media day Wednesday, they had somewhere comfortable to sit. The bottom portion of Carmichael Auditorium now has individual chairs rather than metal bleachers. The arena's capacity has dropped to 8,010 from the 10,180 it held last year, but the cushioned chairs with cupholders should be a nice addition for fans.
