North Carolina among states with the most talent in 2022 football recruiting class

Mack Brown is going to have to work hard to keep the top two players in the state this year. Defensive tackle Travis Shaw and outside linebacker Jalon Walker both have predictions to Clemson. Still, there is normally pressure to stay in state, and Brown has convinced several early commits to other programs to change their minds the past couple seasons.
