North Carolina senior forward Giovanni Montesdeoca was named the ACC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. Montesdeoca scored a pair of second-half goals to lead the Tar Heels to a 3-0 win over fourth-ranked Pitt on Friday night. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Montesdeoca leads North Carolina in goals (3) and points (7) this season.
