Running backs had little impact in Tar Heels' loss

Much was made about who would start at running back for North Carolina in its season-opening game Saturday. Turns out, it didn't really matter. True freshman James "Cooter" Arnold ended up getting the nod, but he alternated series with LSU transfer throughout the game. Arnold finished with 28 yards on eight carries, while Edwards gained 22 yards on seven attempts. (Durham Herald-Sun)
