If Dustin Ackley hit third in the Carolina lineup, there is a reasonable chance he would a first-team All-American instead of third-team. The problem is North Carolina would not be as good because his skills and gifts make him the ideal person for this team to lead off the batting order. He has speed. He handles a bat with a different touch and reaction than most players. (Carolina Blue)
