As has been the case numerous times in recent years, Carolina is in the running for one of the premier big men in the country. But, as has frequently happened in these quests, the Tar Heels could be left empty-handed. Spencer Hawes has UNC in his final five along with UCLA, Stanford, Connecticut and Washington, with the latter the team to beat.
