King Rice 'Disappointed' UNC Canceled Basketball Game at Monmouth

In February 2020, UNC basketball announced a three-game series with Monmouth, which is coached by former UNC guard King Rice. The series was set to tip-off last season. However, that first game was postponed by the pandemic and Monmouth was not included in UNC's 2021-22 schedule. Rice is upset with the cancellation by his alma mater.
