The Tar Heels’ 2022 football recruiting class consists of one 5-star recruit, eight 4-star recruits and five 3-star recruits, including two players ranked in the Top 100 nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. The UNC commits in the 2022 class have an average Composite rating of 91.16. 5-star DL Travis Shaw, Composite: 0.9972, No. 2 DL.
