Impressive UNC offense not enough to overcome defensive issues

While North Carolina showed signs of putting it all together on offense, there still are plenty of issues for the Tar Heels’ defense to work out. Notre Dame drove with ease on UNC, particularly in the second half, on its way to a 44-34 victory Saturday. After UNC forced a punt on the game’s opening drive, Notre Dame scored on the next five possessions. (Tar Heel Tribune)
