UNC Football Introduces Defensive Tackle Travis Shaw

In 2020, the No. 1 player from the state of North Carolina signed with Clemson over UNC. In 2021, the Tar Heels secured top-ranked recruit Keeshawn Silver. In 2022, that trend continued with the signing of 6-foot-5, 310-pound defensive tackle and No. 1 player from NC, Travis Shaw. “I chose Carolina because it’s a big family atmosphere,” he said.
