‘Historic day’ marks dedication of new UNC building names


The ceremonies and sentiments were similar when the University of North Carolina dedicated two campus buildings with the names of two groundbreaking Tar Heels on Friday, May 13. But in keeping with what the names Henry Owl and Hortense McClinton represent, the dedications also celebrated the diversity of the honorees and their cultures. (UNC.edu)
