Meredith Sholder Named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player Of The Week

UNC senior Meredith Sholder has been named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. Sholder played a crucial role on both ends of the field Friday as UNC picked up its fourth shutout win in a row, 3-0 at No. 4 Louisville. In the ACC opener for both teams, the Tar Heel defense didn't allow a shot in the first half. (GoHeels.com)
