Posted Nov 13, 2022
UNC’s cruise through to the ACC championship game hit a pothole on Saturday, but Drake Maye kept the Tar Heels out of the ditch, passing for 448 yards and three TDs in a scintillating 36-34 win over Wake Forest. WFU QB Sam Hartman completed 18 of 31 passes, but one of his few mistakes, an interception by UNC safety Cam'Ron Kelly, was a game-turner.
