Interception costly for Wake Forest as Tar Heels edge Demon Deacons

UNC’s cruise through to the ACC championship game hit a pothole on Saturday, but kept the Tar Heels out of the ditch, passing for 448 yards and three TDs in a scintillating 36-34 win over Wake Forest. WFU QB Sam Hartman completed 18 of 31 passes, but one of his few mistakes, an interception by UNC safety , was a game-turner. (Winston-Salem Journal)
