North Carolina has looked at times like a .500 football team and for a brief period was on the extended College Football Playoff radar. The Tar Heels are 9-4 as they prepare to face Oregon in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego on December 28. How they got to this point wasn’t devoid of drama, however. UNC played eight games decided by a touchdown or less.
