UNC is ranked No. 12 in the 2023 DI Baseball preseason Top 25 poll, marking the Tar Heels' third top 15 appearance in a preseason poll. UNC also received preseason top 15 rankings from Collegiate Baseball (No. 11) and Perfect Game (No. 13).
