Jets’ wide receiver is making all the Wright moves

Wallace Wright earned a tryout with the Jets, signed a contract after minicamp, was cut before the season and then signed to the practice squad — all while dealing with the news that his mother, Darlene, had cancer and needed a bone marrow transplant. “She’s my inspiration,” Wright said, adding that she’s now in remission. Wright was signed to the Jets’ active roster late that season, and has been making a mark on special teams since. (Wilkes-Barre Times Leader)
