Chris Crane slips in lesson

Chris Crane experienced a major step up in competition last week when the Boston College quarterback faced down the Virginia Tech defense. The result, ultimately, was a good one for the Eagles and Crane, as he made enough big plays to overcome the two interceptions returned for touchdowns. When the Eagles take on North Carolina tomorrow in Chapel Hill, N.C., they’ll be seeing yet another defense that lives off of turnovers. (Boston Herald)
