Extra Points Mailbag: Boston College

Okay, Tar Heel fans: The world is not coming to an end. Carolina is 5-2 and its two losses were by slim margins to teams (Virginia Tech and Virginia) that have averaged beating the Tar Heels by 15 points a game over the last half decade. That's improvement. They have finally won on the road outside the state (Rutgers). They won in Miami, where they have not done so since 1957. They won only their second game all-time against Notre Dame (against 17 losses).
