Competition Makes Tar Heels' Improved Defense Deeper


The UNC defense played a season-high 30 players during the Tar Heels’ blowout of Syracuse. UNC’s increased defensive depth has been teased at times this year, but not to the extent displayed against the Orange. Multiple Tar Heels played season-best snap counts, namely defensive linemen (26 snaps) and (17 snaps). (Inside Carolina)
