Posted Nov 9, 2008
Danny Green and Wayne Ellington each had 16 points to lead six Tar Heels in double figures as the top-rated UNC men's basketball team defeated UNC Pembroke, 102-62, Saturday in an exhibition contest at the Smith Center. Green and Ellington knocked in three three-pointers apiece and were joined in double figures by Deon Thompson (14), Ty Lawson (14), Tyler Zeller (13) and Ed Davis (12). Bobby Frasor made his return to action after a season-ending knee injury last December and hit three from behind the arc.
