Hit on Tyler Zeller wasn't vicious
Posted Nov 20, 2008
It doesn’t take longtime Carolina fans – and coaches - long to remember that play [against Kenny Smith] when a Tar Heel goes to the basket and is fouled from behind. But what happened Tuesday night in the Smith Center, when Kentucky’s Ramon Harris fouled UNC freshman Tyler Zeller, was far from a replay of that moment in 1984. The Tudor hit was so ridiculous it would have even embarrassed Bill Laimbeer. The Harris foul was not.
