The NCAA seeding committee won’t admit it, but putting North Carolina and Arizona in the same region might have been too good to pass up. Caleb Love and R.J. Davis were key members of UNC's second-rated recruiting class in 2020. The duo led UNC to the National Championship game in 2022. Drama followed in 2023. Love left for Arizona and Davis stayed.
