The daughter of the late , who died Nov. 2, 2023 at the age of 69, Hillary Laird was at Final Four weekend to represent and celebrate her father being one of 13 inductees to be honored in August. "When I got to the hotel, they handed me the jersey with his name, with the No. 24 on there," Laird said (Video). "I just immediately started crying." (Fayetteville Observer)
