UNC Pounds Pitt in ACC Tourney Opener Without Vance Honeycutt

North Carolina came out swinging in its ACC baseball tournament opener on Thursday afternoon, while missing a considerable piece of the lineup. The top-seeded Tar Heels handled 12th-seeded Pittsburgh 12-2 in the pool at Truist Field in Charlotte, as four of the first five batters UNC sent to the plate launched home runs in the top of the first inning.
