While visiting North Carolina for Saturday's home-opener against Charlotte, Top-115 class off 2026 football recruit Zavion Griffin-Haynes committed to the Tar Heels. He announced his commitment Sunday. Over the summer, Griffin-Haynes, a 4-star edge rusher from Rolesville (N.C.) High, watched his recruitment transform into an Ohio State vs. UNC battle.
