Heels wanted a close one and get it in a loss to BC

North Carolina got that close game it wanted. Funny, the Tar Heels liked it better in theory. Two days after said UNC would benefit from a game that went down to the wire, Boston College gave the lackluster Tar Heels the reckoning they were looking for, methodically running its offense well enough to come away with a surprising 85-78 victory at the Smith Center on Sunday evening. "They were much tougher than us tonight," UNC point guard said. (Durham Herald-Sun)
