As College Football was about to embark on the first of its four home playoff games, with the first one being at Notre Dame with Touchdown Jesus in the background, ESPN’s signature pregame show took a segment to remotely talk to Belichick and essentially make one of the biggest recruiting arguments he could make—and ESPN wanted that to happen.
