Bill Belichick lands star quarterback Gary Merrill who is also a 5-star UNC Lacrosse commit

North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick has landed the commitment of quarterback Gary Merrill, a two-sport athlete and a 5-star lacrosse recruit who has committed to play both sports for the Tar Heels. "Extremely grateful for the opportunity to play football and lacrosse at the University of North Carolina. Go Heels! Ready to get to work," Merrill posted. (Sports Illustrated)
