Tar Heels rout Cavs

North Carolina found the solutions it needed for its shortcomings last night to beat Virginia and post its first ACC victory of the season. UNC won 83-61 at John Paul Jones Arena behind Tyler Hansbrough, Danny Green and Ty Lawson. UNC opened up a 67-40 lead with 13:54 left by speeding down the floor after missed Virginia shots to generate a 17-4 scoring run immediately after halftime, and then fought off one faint rally.
