UNC Athletics Revenue Boost a Key Aspect of N.C. Senate Budget Proposal

In April, the North Carolina Senate approved its two-year, $66 billion state budget proposal, which includes a potential financial boon to North Carolina's athletic department. The proposed budget would potentially direct $24.4 million in athletic department support to UNC and N.C. State during the 2025-26 fiscal year and $31.5 million in 2026-27.
