UNC Baseball Falls to Arizona in Super Regional Rubber Match, 4-3


North Carolina had a return to the College World Series, planned and plotted since the team's first meeting 10 months ago, within its grasp. But the Tar Heels couldn't secure it, falling to Arizona 4-3 in the winner-take-all super regional rubber match Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium, and suffering a particularly piercing season-ending loss.
