UNC rallies to beat FSU
Posted Jan 29, 2009
UNC made a desperation play work in 3.2 seconds last night to take a hard-fought 80-77 win over Florida State at the buzzer. Ty Lawson drove about 50 feet after catching an inbound pass from Tyler Hansbrough and made a 3-point shot on the run for the win. Lawson blew past Derwin Kitchen on his way down the floor, evaded another FSU player and shot before 7-1 center Solomon Alabi could get closer than the free-throw line.
