Report: UNC considering new 25,000-seat stadium to draw international sports

UNC is betting big on international sports with plans for a 25,000-seat complex on UNC’s Carolina North campus, according to the Triangle Business Journal. The "NC Colosseum" would host soccer, cricket, football and even rugby matches, concerts, and special events. It would be built on the same site as a potential location for a new basketball arena.
