The arrival of Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson has been a much-needed shot in the arm for the MEAC, a withering conference of historically Black colleges and universities that’s now down to six programs—Delaware State, Howard, Morgan State, Norfolk State, North Carolina Central, and South Carolina State—after losing five schools to other leagues since 2017.
