UNC offensive line coach Will Friend says fundamentals key to ending struggles


North Carolina offensive line coach Will Friend said Thursday that improvement on offense isn’t about wholesale change. It’s about fundamentals. He was the offensive coordinator last season at Western Kentucky, which averaged 29.2 points per game and 373.5 yards of total offense. But Carolina hasn’t come close to those numbers this season.
