College Football Playoff 2025 first-round takeaways

The first round of the College Football Playoff is complete. After last year's run of home blowouts, we saw the opposite in the first two games: a pair of nip-and-tuck ballgames with wild special teams swings and, thanks in large part to turnovers, a pair of road victors (after home teams were 4-0 in the first round last year). Alabama pulled off a 17-point comeback to beat Oklahoma. (ESPN.com)
