Ty Lawson sniffled at his locker, still dealing with an illness he's fought for several days. He got well against Miami. North Carolina's point guard scored 17 of his 21 points in the second half, including the game-sealing 3-pointer with 10.6 seconds left, and the third-ranked Tar Heels held off a strong Hurricanes' comeback bid on the way to a 69-65 win Sunday night.
