Fans of the Carolina Panthers likely have heard the Panthers’ team motto of “Keep Pounding” at some point in their lives, but do you know the origin of the phrase? The phrase originates from Sam Mills, one of the greatest Carolina Panthers of all time and one of the greatest linebackers of his era. He was diagnosed with intestinal cancer on 2003.
