Ty Lawson Named ACC Player Of The Week

Ty Lawson has been named ACC Player of the Week and Virginia's Sylven Landesberg is the ACC Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Feb. 16. In earning Player of the Week honors for the second time this year, Lawson averaged 23.0 points, 4.5 assists, shot 15 for 23 from the floor, 5 for 9 from three-point range and 11 for 11 from the free throw line as the Tar Heels picked up a pair of key ACC road wins at Duke and Miami.
